A delegation led by Vice Governor of Fujian province Li Dejin recently visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song and Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) Lionel Ni. During the meeting, both parties agreed to enhance collaboration between UM and Fujian universities in academic and research activities, especially in smart city development and industrialisation for traditional Chinse medicine. Li praised UM for its efforts in talent development and the promotion of industrialisation, teaching, and research. Song told the guests about UM’s current development, future development directions, and research achievements in recent years. Members of the delegation visited UM’s Smart City Joint Laboratory and State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine (QRCM Lab).
